Vision Statement: All needs are held with compassion, including the Earth’s.
Vision Description: We live in awareness of the interdependence of humans, animals, and the Earth; that everyone’s needs matter. The well-being of the Earth is our well-being, and our well-being is the well-being of the Earth. We manifest this vision through the practice, learning, and sharing of Compassionate Communication and Permaculture locally, regionally, and globally. Our Core Values are
• Learning and growth
• Compassion – living the love we feel for each other, the planet, and future generations
• Deep connection to nature
Our Mission: To live in a community where all human, animal and the Earth’s needs are held with compassion, and to share what we learn with others.

We are forming an intentional community on 8 1/2 acres of forest, orchard, and hayfields on beautiful Vashon Island, very close to Seattle, Washington. We have 3 bedrooms in the farmhouse to rent at $500 to $550 per month plus a share of heat/electricity. Open to applications from people with the equivalent of a Permaculture Design Certificate and 10 day intensive training in compassionate communication, such as Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication.
