Permaculturing in Portugal

Quinta do Vale is a 2-hectare off-grid permaculture demonstration and education centre in the Serra do Açor, Central Portugal which has been in development for 10 years now. We have been working on regenerating the land through circular systems design, water retention, soil restoration, agroforestry and organic growing, natural building, renewable energy generation and ecological sanitation. The quinta is embedded in a community (unintentional) of eco-immigrants who are working towards recreating and reimagining community.
