Abdallah is training manager, a freelancer, a Head of an educational NGO (Arc en Ciel) and GEN ambassador in Algeria. Abdallah is an environmental activist, he has been involved in the Green field since 10 years ago, and one of the founders of his NGO.
He speaks three languages; and he likes Reading , Travelling and Volleyball. He likes also designing educational games.

Abdallah KHAZENE
Abdallah KHAZENE is an environmental and Youth Worker activist in Soth west Algeria.
Abdallah was born in Ain Sefra, Algeria, on 11/04/1979. In 2001, He graduated from Abubakr Belkaid University in Tlemcen , with BA degree in English Literature.
After receiving his education, Abdallah Khazene worked as a teacher in a Middle school. Later he passed his military service in the Air High School. In 2004 , he was back to teaching in a high school , and later has changed the company to join a British Firm and teach Elglish language for specific puposes. In 2011, He joined a big National company where he has worked as a training manager till now.
The English literature graduated has fallen in love with the magical ecological aspects of his region where in one day he can sea the 4 seasons. A very rich biodiversity which has met a rich cultural and historical heritage in one region. Ain Sefra and its surrounding ksour has always been an inspiration for him; but the biodiversity and the heritage of this region were threatened and facing degradation.
Abdallah has founded Arc en Ciel NGO with a group of friends who were sharing the same pain and the same vision. The NGO comes to advocate and work to enhance the environment and mainly the weak ecosystems of the region. In 2009 and 2010 he has managed two projects with the NETHERLAND’s embassy in Algeria on Weltalend, Biodiversity and the role of Cultural heritage in saving biodiversity.
Since then; He has attended many seminar, short courses and meetings mainly in a relation with Environment, ecovillages, wetlands, Volunteering, Non Formal Education and Climate Change.
Abdallah has worked with GIZ , Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and OXFAM Italy for some Maghreb sustainable projects. Further more he has been representing the North African Youth at the CEC – IUCN. Now,Abdallah is the Global Ecovillage Network ambassador in Algeria in Africa; He shares the same vision of ecovillages and eco-cities of the GEN network where he feels that the ksour of high Atlas where he lives should be sustainable and ecological because it is the only way to survive and keep its authenticity, he has been an ALUMNI of an Ecovillage Design Education course organized along Senegal and has attended two GEN Africa meetings. The best practices learned with GEN since December 2011 has been of a great impact on him, his NGO and the ksour of his region, the Eco-Ksour of his region.
Abdallah is Also a freelancer and a trainer mainly in Wetland management; Interculturalism and Volunteering where he works with Salto Euro-Med with youth at the Euro-Mediterranean Level.
