Hi! I’m Eva, and I run social media for GEN International — the global network connecting ecovillages, intentional communities, and regenerative culture-builders across every continent. I’m looking for a co-conspirator to help me tell the stories of the people quietly building the future: off-grid villages in the Philippines, permaculture farms in Senegal, urban cohousing projects in Berlin, elders passing down land wisdom in the Andes. It’s a wildly rich, wildly underrepresented world, and I want more people to fall in love with it the way I have. What you’ll actually do: Dream up and create content for Instagram and LinkedIn (reels, carousels, stories, captions that don’t sound like a corporate newsletter) Dig into our global network and turn your findings into stories people want to share Pitch your own ideas. If there’s a series, a theme, a format, or a corner of the network that lights you up, that’s what I want you to focus on. What we’re looking for: A natural storyteller, someone who can spot the human thread in a project update or a photo from a faraway village Genuinely curious about ecovillages, sustainability, intentional community, regenerative living Self-motivated and communicative; this is a flexible, trust-based role Why this role: This isn’t a “post 3x a week and don’t ask questions” internship. You’ll have real creative freedom to work on what excites you, learn how a global grassroots network tells its story, and build a portfolio full of meaningful, purpose-driven content. Volvemos a celebrar el Encuentro Bioregional de Ecoaldeas y Comunidades, en la zona Centro. Unos días en los que nos juntamos los miembros de la red y nos reencontramos para ofrecer talleres e inspiración a los cientos de personas que se acercan. Compartir, contarnos como nos va. Aprender las unas de las otras. El gusto de vernos y celebrar que seguimos aquí. De nuevo nos encontraremos en la Ecoaldea de Valdepiélagos, organizado por la Ecoaldea y Taller Karuna. Cada Encuentro ha sido una experiencia distinta. Cada lugar una aventura, para quien lo organiza, para quienes acudimos. Talleres de todo tipo, contactos, canciones, exposiciones, risas, abrazos, paseos, reuniones, niñas y niños, juegos, baños, calor, tormentas… el gusto de conocernos, irnos queriendo, el cariño haciendo red. Las cuatro Dimensiones necesarias para construir una ecoaldea o proyecto comunitario: Dimensión Social y comunitaria: En ella abordaremos los criterios sobre los que construir comunidades sanas y equilibradas. Aspectos como los liderazgos, las tomas de decisiones, el activismo social, la comunicación no violenta, la gestión emocional y del poder… Dimensión Ecológica: Agricultura biológica, la Permacultura, la bioconstrucción, la huella ecológica, la huella hídrica, la autogestión energética, el agua… Dimensión Económica: Encaminándonos siempre hacia la autogestión de nuestras economías, trataremos de enunciar y compartir muchas de las prácticas y acciones que podemos establecer para depender menos del capital y defender los derechos de la Tierra , con herramientas y experiencias prácticas… Dimensión Espiritual: Una comunidad es algo más que una suma de individuos. Abordaremos esa dimensión invisible -pero no por ello inexistente– que ha de conformar ese “espíritu” presente en cada comunidad o proyecto comunitario… Iremos añadiendo el programa con los TALLERES que se hagan. Our french network exists since 1998 ; Today there is no real ecovillage in France, but a lot of “ecolieux” (ecoplaces), little places inhabited by some families and friends, 5, 10 20 people maximum. Why this inventory ? Why, in France, is it so difficult to imagine living in an real ecovillage ? What are the typical French difficulties we face ?
