What we do

The Lebensgarten Steyerberg e.V. is a community that strives to live in harmony together with others and with nature. Founded in 1986, the community has since grown to include 62 terrace houses, a seminar house (also known as the healing house) and the main building where the big hall is located. Most of those that come to live here are searching for communal living and are open to embracing care and tolerance. We all support one another in the development of our talents and abilities, as well as in everyday life. Just as important for us is our cooperation with nature and ecology. For this reason we now have approximately 100 gardeners who all help us to attain this. Everyone living in the community is financially responsible for themselves and aside from the active members, we also receive some support from patrons.
The community was originally inspired by the Findhorn Foundation, Scotland, and as a result we provide plenty of opportunities for people to develop their spirituality through meditation, singing in the chapel and circle dances, amongst other things. We foster close connection to others and so are able to enjoy important events, life phases, festivals together.
Our main areas of interest revolve around healthy living, culture work, homeopathy, systematic work and how to positively overcome conflicts. Any community decisions are made during our monthly meetings using principles of consensus.

Introductorio DRAGON DREAMING
