What we do

Hola a todos y a todas.
Desde este mágico rincón, situado en el norte de la provincia de Burgos, lindando a pocos kilómetros, por el oeste con Cantabria y por el este con el País Vasco, os invitamos a compartir con nosotros y nosotras experiencias, trabajo, ilusiones…
Estamos en la montaña, a unos 1000 metros de altitud, en plena naturaleza, rodeados de una flora y fauna muy diversa, frondosos bosques, numerosos arroyos con aguas cristalinas…Somos varios núcleos familiares.
Unos vecinos somos nuevos pobladores con un proyecto en común,: revivir la zona, desarrollarnos en un espacio natural, crear autosuficiencia basándonos siempre en el respeto a la naturaleza y en el apoyo mutuo.
Otros vecinos son lugareños de los pocos que quedan en la zona que aun conservan un estilo de vida tradicional, con quien tenemos la suerte de aprender y compartir el dia a dia, quienes nos han demostrado que en este lugar, el apoyo mutuo no es sólo una cuestión de palabras, sino que sin la ayuda entre los vecinos la vida es mucho más dura y complicada.
Tenemos mucho trabajo por delante y muy variado…rehabilitación de las viviendas, construcción de cobertizos, gallineros, leñeras, montar muros de piedra, reconstruir fresqueras, reconducir arroyos y manantiales, recoger leña, tareas varias de huerto, ayudar con los animales, recoger hierba para las vacas, etc…pero ademas del trabajo nos gustaría compartir nuestras-vuestras inquietudes, experiencias…intercambio de idiomas, podemos ofrecer clases de español, hablamos varios idiomas, ingles nivel medio, alemán alto, francés medio y griego bajo…realizar rutas de especial interés ecológico y cultural…compartir técnicas circenses, malabarismos, equilibrismos…intercambiar recetas de cocina…
Sois bienvenidos todo el año, aunque hay que tener en cuenta que los mejores meses son los de primavera, verano y otoño ya que los inviernos son muy duros, nieva mucho y apenas se puede salir de casa y muchas veces nos quedamos incomunicados durante días.

Das INTERKOMMune-Seminar

Von 1986 bis 2012 sind in der Region Kassel 4 Gemeinschaften entstanden: die Kommune Niederkaufungen, die Villa Locomuna in Kassel, die gASTWERKe in Escherode und der Lossehof in Oberkaufungen. Alle Gruppen basieren auf den Grundsätzen Gemeinsame Ökonomie und Konsens bei der Entscheidungsfindung und sind Teil des KommuJa-Netzwerkes der politischen Kommunen. Im Laufe der Jahre haben sich die 4 Gemeinschaften immer mehr vernetzt und gemeinsame Projekte auf den Weg gebracht: das „Los geht´s!“, die „Solidarische Landwirtschaft“ und andere gruppenübergreifende Arbeitskollektive. Das Seminar stellt das Leben in einer Kommune am Beispiel der vier Gemeinschaften vor. Es sollen die Gemeinsamkeiten der Gruppen, ihre unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkte und individuellen Wege betrachtet werden. Angesprochen sind an Kommunen interessierte Menschen und solche, die sich schon konkret überlegen in eine der vier Gemeinschaften einzusteigen oder eventuell eine weitere Gruppe in der Region zu gründen. Vorgestellt werden Perspektiven der einzelnen Gruppen, leer stehende Fachwerkhäuser und Neubaugebiete in der Region, wo Co-Housing-Projekte oder andere Gemeinschaftsprojekte initiiert werden könnten. Are you looking to consciously re-invent cooperative and harmonious ways of living and working together? If so, how do we design solutions for group development, leadership, conflict resolution, decision-making, creativity, social justice and communication? Join Gaia Education’s Social Design for Sustainability course and learn practical effective ways to create the change we all seek. Our distinct programme is your chance to learn about the different ways to participate in this (r)evolutionary shift in paradigms. Our aim is to give you a better understanding of the true meaning of social equity and participatory action, and to enable participants to apply transformative tools that align us with more resilient social systems. Our relationship with others is too dear to let it default to old domineering paradigms. Many of us feel that our current social system is no longer sustainable and that more compassionate and just ways of organising are possible, but what are the alternatives? It is a commonly held belief that there are things individuals can do to change the system or improve their social condition but within the context of a complex global community, the effectiveness of isolated individual action is limited. We all co-create the system in which we live so once we join with others and work for a shared vision to improve the situation in our communities we participate in a powerful force for positive change If you have been part of a group, you already know that one of the most common reasons for failure of group projects is conflict. Conflict is a structural issue in the formation of groups so propagating successful group projects will necessarily entail a healing process in which we step out of the cycles of pain and violence that have run through human history and take responsibility for initiating new patterns.
