How to join

SEMANA DE EXPERIENCIA
Una semana donde los visitantes pueden experimentar la vida en comunidad, participando de las actividades cotidianas y colaborando en las diversas áreas de la ecoaldea
PARTICIPANTE
Venir a aprender y capacitarse en los cursos, talleres y seminarios que se realizan durante el año.

VOLUNTARIADO
El servicio de voluntariado se ofrece para quienes desean apoyar e integrarse de forma inicial a Ecoaldea.
Es una inmersión profunda con la comunidad y el trabajo en un área especifica. Puede durar de 1 a 12 meses.
Para poder recibir los reducidos cupos que se abren por temporadas, es un requerimiento llenar el formulario y pasar por una selección y una entrevista vía skype con los interesados.
Se reciben voluntarios desde la primavera al otoño entre Septiembre a Junio.
PROCESO DE INTEGRACION
El proceso de integración es para todos aquellos quienes quieran vivir en la ecoaldea y trabajar en ella. Hay ciertos requisitos como haber participado de alguno de los cursos que se imparten y haber trabajado como voluntario por un periodo de 12 meses, antes de aplicar. Se irán aceptando nuevos miembros en medida que la comunidad vaya creciendo. Y este proceso puede durar de 1 a 4 años, dependiendo del tiempo que el participante pase dentro de la comunidad y como responsable de alguna de sus áreas.
MIEMBRO RESIDENTE
Es para todos aquellos que lleven mas de 1 años y quieran ser parte integral del proyecto.

Power of Community Summit Hub in Amalurra - Basque country

In order to bring the Power of Community Summit(https://summit.ecovillage.org/) to the Basque Country, Irene Goikolea is organising 3 events bringing people together in order to speak and share on the importance of climate change and consciousness. Each event will include the projection and translation into Spanish of one interview to a world renowned speaker, a reference in the field of climate change and consciousness. Natural Building Internship

What is Natural Building Natural building is all about reconnecting with our ancestral roots and our natural environment. Building beautiful, durable, healthy and spiritually uplifting buildings as well as building nurturing relationships with people and the planet along the way. What is this Natural Building Internship is about? This internship aims to provide comprehensive knowledge, practical skills and experience for building a house using natural material locally found in the area. You will be involved in lots of hands on work on the Gaia Ashram project during this two weeks program. Our aim is that participants will leave motivated, empowered & with plenty of practical experience. The mainframe content includes; House design and designing for energy efficiency Using natural and ecological building materials which include natural material locally found in the area, reused and recycled materials How to build a house step by step Additional knowledge to Natural building You will be learning about dry composting toilets for the hands on project to build a dry composting toilet Practical work during the internship Apart from having the knowledge about the different techniques of Green Building or Natural Building, this internship includes lots of practical learning or learning by doing.
