Started with a childhood dream:
” At four years of age, I had a dream. In it I saw myself very old, with a wrinkled, happy face, surrounded by small children in a very green place, with schools, sports fields and even hospitals surrounded by a lot of nature. A dream so special that I spent much of my childhood imagining what this paradise of children would be like…”
Is about building a Solidarity Global Community… That was born from the purity of a childs dream…
VILA DOS SONHOS is a great dream of Onda Solidária and has been developed through intense research, studies and visits to socio-environmental projects, ecological design and construction that work the concepts of harmony between the human being and environment.
“VILA” is a centre for learning and training which aims not only to provide opportunities for individuals of any age to develop their personal talents and create better living conditions for themselves and their families, but also to share ethical values and structures that aim towards a truly sustainable life model. It is based on an inspirational model of social action at local level which can, however, be replicated elsewhere in the country and abroad.
The VILA will contribute to a better and more caring world through experiences and practices which focus on the transformation of the individual and of society towards its own independence and citizenship.
We develop social projects for and with children, young people and commnunities between Rio and Minas region, but we also receive people from all over the world in our dream.
Our social practises include education, environmental and sports projects, all connected with mother nature and we believe in leading by example… Solidarity generates Solidarity. Together and as part of the project we develop many environmental projects from tree planting, eco building, animal care, events and activities to connect people and nature.
We are building this dream together with dreamers and difference makers..
