What we do

As specialists of Youth Inclusion, Life Project 4 Youth decided to replicate its model and establish a Green Village solution in Nepal, located in the outskirts of Kathmandu: An entrepreneurial sustainable hub providing a platform boosting the professional inclusion of 240 Young Women per Year. It is also a community eco-village and catalyst oriented as the Youth host events and learning activities with the community in order to share professional decent world, digital inclusion and environment preservation.
In 2020, the team decided to implement the center temporarily in a suburb located North of Kathmandu, but is being relocated to the South in a district called Godawari, surrounded by municipal forest. In this land of 3000 square meters lies a few discredited brick buildings with a field for agriculture purposes.
The aim remains the same to welcome excluded young women coming from different districts of Nepal, so that they can follow professional training.
Green because the purpose of the Green Village Nepal is to develop a sustainable place focused on 4 green pillars: agroecology, ecotourism, ecocontruction and digitalisation to be in tune with the 21st century. Those pillars are important as they represent both the challenges and the future of Nepalese’s society.
It is also Green because the aim is to raise ecological awareness through training and visits to other inspirational and green places in Kathmandu. The Young women are also involved in activities such as growing vegetables, doing compost, waste management and debates on ecological topics.
Village because this inspirational place will gather all the stakeholders involved in the project: the Youth, the partners and the community. The aim is to have a positive impact through events, workshops, conferences held in the Green Village.

Introductorio DRAGON DREAMING
