ALMA is a french acronym that means “Accompany the world that comes after”
Also:
* the scholar in Arab
* the nourishing in Latin
* the soul in latin modern languages
=> Thus the 3 foundations of our vision:
* pass the 21st century necessary knowledges (how to get food from the earth, build a cheap house…)
* nourishing people with healthy food, culture…
* become better version of ourselves with wellbeing, good communication…
But also:
* Create a model scientifically monitored (hence solid argues to defend alt societies models), “open source”, replicable and adapted anywhere, at different scales.
* Reach a good amount of self-sustainability on every life aspects
Some values / goals:
* “classics” of ecovillages: kindness, solidarity, mutual aid, multi-generation-origins-countries, social melting pot, permaculture…
* Open-minded: without any banners, but celebrating pluralities (the founder belongs to LGBT community), accepting differences…
* Festive: from sharing a smile, the living happiness, to the organisation of 4 seasons festivals, always celebrating victories and preparing occasions for it.
* Entrepreneur minded: if we know what and how to do, then let’s do it today and not tomorrow. Having no fear of others, of failures… Evaluate the risk yes, but no stuck minded.
* “0.5”: the opposition to the binary machine 0 1 language. Human being should be a cursor evolving around this 0.5, never radical as 0 or 1, trying to estimate pros and cons, to find the balance for everything.

For instance only few people are involved in ALMA. A lot of technical stuffs are already done, less exhaustion in the future.

* skills we need: agriculture (market gardening, cereals, touristic and work horses, wine, bread, beers makers… every kind of cultivations and farmings) food transformation labs, market manager, eco-building, hotel-restaurant management, education, wellbeing, crafts, energies engineering, low techs, fab-lab and business incubator management, social / bio /… scientists, surfer and skateboarder with degrees to teach, admin, accounting, communication, legal, sys admin, full stack developper… and more !
* at least 30 k€ = the global cost per family is estimated around 100 k€, covering a private land for your alt house, the cost of an alt house, shared parts for work, agriculture, hosting… we have a 650 k€ bank credit confirmed that can help but needs 400 k€ of auto-financement to be activated, thus 30 k€ is a minimum to have to balance the shares between all of us.
