Frequently asked questions

I’ve just arrived here, where should I start?

If you are just getting to know GEN, we recommend you start with the GEN Intro course which will give you the frame of how the network and organisation flow.

A live course will be offered at set times and invites you to engage with a facilitator and other participants. A self-paced course means you can engage in the content as your schedule allows. We also offer courses where you engage in the content yourself and then join gently facilitated group discussions to connect with others.

Visit the Community Events page to see what is available or contact your region.

No! We strive to serve a range of audiences and believe that ecovillage tools can be applied in a range of contexts.

Sometimes. We operate on keeping course fees as low as possible while paying our collaborators fairly. When the essential costs are covered, we can sometimes offer scholarships. Contact Us.

We would be happy to consider it. Please send a proposal via our contact form. Be sure to include your background on the topic (length of experience and in which contexts), where you have offered the course previously, and your suggested format (live, self paced, pricing etc.)
