El voluntariado es una propuesta del acompañar. Surge como posibilidad activa y pedagógica, para fortalecer el desarrollo de los procesos propios que buscan nuestras comunidades. Convocando gente de todos los territorios, nos unimos para co-crear un espacio de abundancia desde el Intercambio Cultural.

Participa en el VII Voluntariado de Intercambio Pedagógico del 2 al 11 de julio, 2014.

En esta ocasión nos enfocaremos en la continuación de la construcción de la escuela propia de Gunkerun, dentro del resguardo indígena de Businchama, territorio que fue recuperado hace 7 años. Dentro del proceso de recuperación se busca fortalecer el conocimiento propio y dentro de ello, la arquitectura tradicional. Adicionalmente, la comunidad Iku ha manifestado interés en implementar técnicas de construcción que aumenten la vida útil de sus edificaciones, por lo cual desde el Colectivo Talanquera ofrecemos a la comunidad asistencia en torno a diferentes eco-técnicas que lo permitan, tales como; recolección de aguas lluvias, baños secos, etc…

A lo largo de los días, se abrirán espacios de compartir en torno al fuego historias tradicionales, danzas, tejido, música, canto… Momentos en los cuales podremos acercarnos íntimamente al saber que ha sido resguardado desde hace más de 7000 años en el territorio de Nauma Keku o bien, la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Igualmente tendremos círculos de palabra algunas de las noches para propiciar un compartir en torno a la experiencia que estaremos viviendo, fortaleciendo así nuestro propósito y relación con nosotros, el territorio y quienes nos acompañan.

Introductorio Dragon Dreaming

Este curso se diferencia de los demás Introductorios en que es residencial en el Molino de Guadalmesí, Tarifa (Cadíz). El Dragon Dreaming es “una filosofía de diseño integral que toma en cuenta la sostenibilidad en todos los aspectos de nuestras vidas”: John Croft, co-fundador del Dragon Dreaming. Permaculture Design Course, Gaia Ashram, Thailand

Gaia Ashram in the North-East of Thailand is organizing a two weeks Permaculture Design Certification (PDC) course. Gaia Ashram is a community, sustainable living learning center & a farm founded in 2013 with a vision to create a living & learning space that deepens our connection with nature and learn to work with nature. In this two weeks PDC there will be a lot of opportunity for us to connect on a deeper level with nature. What is Permaculture? Permaculture is a design system that reconciles human communities with the ecological imperatives of a living planet. Permaculture is a way of organizing knowledge, a connecting systems that integrates science, art, politics, anthropology, sociology, psychology, and the diverse experiences and resources available in any community. Gaia Ashram Permaculture Design Course This Permaculture Design Course will be held in the spirit of Gaia Ashram where community living is the foundation of the learning. Like every program held at Gaia Ashram, we will build a sense of community among all the course participants and the people who live at Gaia Ashram. There will be space for skillshare, deep sharing and well being check – ins. Course participants are welcome to join the daily meditation & yoga/dance. Permaculture Design Certificate

Join us in Frelighsburg, QC for a full-time, two-week Permaculture Design Certification. The PDC program follows the internationally recognized curriculum provided by Bill Mollison. During this course, we will observe and follow the natural principles that drive ecological systems. We will learn, through both theory and hands-on practice, how to integrate these principles in designing our lives, homes, lands, and communities. Upon completion of this course, you will obtain your Permaculture Design Certificate. This certification will allow you to pursue a permaculture diploma and give you the fundamentals to begin integrating permaculture principles into your career, life, endeavours or enterprise. This course is held on a 268-acre domain equipped with a private lake, a beautiful little river with a small waterfall, all of which is located 1km from the sacred Abenaki mountain of Mont Pinacle (visible from the house) and 3km away from the charming village core of Frelighsburg, QC. It is 5km away from the Vermont border and thus, easily accessible for our neighbours to the South. The property has a small apple orchard area with 4 different kinds of apples trees growing. The land is partially forested with 2 long walking trails and partly cleared (about 5 acres) for 2 organic agricultural projects. ​ ​The property enjoys lots of sunshine and privacy. And there is a fire pit area with seating and picnic tables. The host will provide some farming tools to share with the participants and you are welcome to bring yours also.
