A Pan African Ecovillage Programme

This ESC program aims to raise awareness on topics related to our daily life. The choices we make, the relationships we create between each other and between man and his environment. During your stay in Ananda Valley you will have the opportunity to explore and expand your skills and passions, learn about nature and how we interfere with it, discover the richness of the different cultures, express your artistic side, develop your own project and much more. It is a two/four months experience, where you will live in a community with people from all around the world, helping to build the dream of a better society.

If we want to be free, if we want to live a life of profound wholeness and purpose, then we need to discover and become grounded in the source of our Being. In this weekend retreat we will dive deeply into the experience of meditation, not through a technique, but through discovering our natural state. Experiencing awakened consciousness and sharing that discovery with others is the most fulfilling and liberating experience we can have. When we discover direct access to our inherent freedom we find ourselves in communion with Life, fearlessly open to the future, and able to respond with clarity, creativity and spontaneity. The retreat will be held in silence except for teaching periods and question and answer sessions. No previous meditation experience is necessary and people from all faiths and spiritual orientations can benefit. The Bangladesh Association for Sustainable Development (BASD) is organizing a Permaculture Design Course (PDC) on 5-10 February 2018 and then an Ecovillage Design Education (EDE) program on 1-10 April 2018. The courses will be taught mainly in Bengali but there will be English translators for foreigners who wish to join. Course fee is US$75 per person, per course.
