Social Media Intern for GEN International Hours: Up to 20/month, flexible around your schedule and availability Location: Remote, work with Eva Goldfarb Focus: Instagram + LinkedIn (TikTok if you’re into it!) Hi! I’m Eva, and I run social media for GEN International — the global network connecting ecovillages, intentional communities, and regenerative culture-builders across every continent. I’m looking for a co-conspirator to help me tell the stories of the people quietly building the future: off-grid villages in the Philippines, permaculture farms in Senegal, urban cohousing projects in Berlin, elders passing down land wisdom in the Andes. It’s a wildly rich, wildly underrepresented world, and I want more people to fall in love with it the way I have. What you’ll actually do: Dream up and create content for Instagram and LinkedIn (reels, carousels, stories, captions that don’t sound like a corporate newsletter) Dig into our global network and turn your findings into stories people want to share Pitch your own ideas. If there’s a series, a theme, a format, or a corner of the network that lights you up, that’s what I want you to focus on. What we’re looking for: A natural storyteller, someone who can spot the human thread in a project update or a photo from a faraway village Genuinely curious about ecovillages, sustainability, intentional community, regenerative living Self-motivated and communicative; this is a flexible, trust-based role Why this role: This isn’t a “post 3x a week and don’t ask questions” internship. You’ll have real creative freedom to work on what excites you, learn how a global grassroots network tells its story, and build a portfolio full of meaningful, purpose-driven content. En este Taller nos introduciremos en la filosofía y técnica de Dragon Dreaming, de forma teórica, experiencial y también de forma práctica, aprendiendo sus fases y pasos. Para ello queremos ofreceros un taller activo, con diversas actividades y dinámicas. Dragon Dreaming DD ha sido co-creado por John Croft y su difunta esposa Vivienne Elanta (los cuales han colaborado con Joanna Macy). Esta técnica se basa en 3 principios: Servicio a la Tierra, Creación de Comunidad y Crecimiento Personal. Dragon Dreaming DD está inspirado en el activismo social y ambiental, la ecología profunda, la nueva ciencia moderna, la teoría de sistemas vivos, la teoría del caos, la no violencia y la sabiduría de los aborígenes australianos. Dragon Dreaming nos facilita el conectar con nuestra llamada, concretizar nuestros sueños y materializar los de forma física, haciendo de estos sueños una realidad. ¿En qué consiste un taller introductorio? Se explica la herramienta, basada en una rueda, con cuatro partes o dimensiones: El sueño, la planificación, la acción y la celebración. Se introducen herramientas transversales de facilitación de grupos, comunicación carismática y no violenta, acuerdos grupales, inteligencia colectiva… Se introducen herramientas dinámicas, participativas y vivenciales para poder: 1. Plasmar los sueños que tienes, tendiendo un puente entre ello y la acción 2. Compartirlos con la gente con la que quieres hacerlos, de una forma auténtica y desinteresada. 3. Crear un sueño colectivo a partir de un sueño personal, que integre la visión de grupo 4. Fijar una meta clara, objetivos y tareas, de forma participativa 5. Diseñar una estrategia, mediante el Kadabirrdt, de forma participativa 6. Crear un presupuesto, conectando con nuestra inteligencia colectiva. 7. Crear una red de apoyo para ayudar en la creación, seguimiento y consecución 8. Crear una metodología de evaluación y celebración de las tareas y metas propuestas, que tenga un todo divertido

The Cloughjordan Ecovillage will host a Communities for Future local hub on the evening of Thursday 6th of February. Participants are invited to gather In the WeCreate centre to discuss the Communities for Future Summit interviews we watched, experience one of the webinars together, and discuss our response as a community to the climate and ecological emergency. The evening will also introduce and discuss ECOLISE’s plans for supporting community led action on climate through a new platform called ‘Communities for Future’, which will be launched later in the year. https://www.ecolise.eu/ ECOLISE, the European network for community-led initiatives on climate change and sustainability. Members include international networks of community-based initiatives such as the Transition Network (representing over 1200 Transition initiatives), the Global Ecovillage Network (15,000 ecovillages), the Permaculture movement (3 million practitioners globally) ICLEI, the association of local governments for sustainability; and national and regional networks; and other specialist bodies engaged in research, training and communications to support community-led response to the climate and ecological emergency. Cloughjordan Ecovillage sees itself as a unique model of how communities can respond to the many challenges of climate change, building not just ecological resilience but also economic regeneration and sustainability. It therefore seeks to play an every more active role in facilitating learning and discussion about the challenges of transitioning to a low-carbon society.
