There’s a river of ancestral memory running through the mountains of Oxapampa — and this year, we’re inviting you to gather at its banks.

CASA Perú is thrilled to announce ENIS — Encuentro Nacional de Iniciativas Sostenibles (September 12–13, 2026), a gathering of intentional communities and regenerative initiatives in Peru’s altitude jungle, ten hours from Lima. Think workshops under open sky, music that carries into the night, a bustling bio-market, and hands-on building — all shared among people dreaming the same dream of a more regenerative world.

This gathering is also a stepping stone toward something bigger: CASA Latina’s biennial continental meeting, ECCO 2027 — Encuentro Continental de Comunidades (May 27–June 3, 2027). We’re expecting 180 participants from 15 countries across South America — a true continental family reunion.

(event details in spanish)

And the connections don’t stop there. We’re also linking arms with Raíces y Alas, the NextGEN gathering (May 11–18, 2027, Tarapoto, Perú) — “only” 16 hours from Oxapampa. Consider yourself warmly invited to both.

Where the magic happens

We’ll meet at San Jorge’s School and the surrounding ecovillage Tierra de Bosques, in Gramazú, 40 minutes from Oxapampa city. This September, our community is coming together to build something lasting: a large communal kitchen stove and ecological showers/toilets, ready to welcome all of you in 2027. Every hand and every contribution helps raise these walls — thank you.

Oñets Awathotheñ — “Ancestral River”

Both ENIS and ECCO carry this name, gifted to us in the Yanesha language. We share the full story of why on CASA Latina’s website — and honestly, discovering it felt like a blessing.

We’re deeply honored to welcome the Yanesha Native Community, mainly from Satchopen, just 15 minutes away, who will lead us in art, music, dance, language, handcrafts, legends, and ceremony. Their presence is the heart of this gathering.

Five paths of regeneration

Alongside them, local and international facilitators will open workshops across five dimensions:

  • Social — participative governance, community-building, egalitarian communities
  • Ecological — waste management, conscious diet, agro-forestry, vermicompost
  • Cultural — art-therapy and creative expression
  • Economical — local currencies, non-speculative digital money
  • Whole System — popular education on global interdependencies, and an introduction to the Gaia Union Ecosystem

Our hope is simple but big: to weave a stronger regional network in Peru, one that welcomes intentional communities, native communities, and campesino leaders alike — laying the groundwork for ECCO 2027 to bring together regenerative voices from across the world.

How to join us

🎟️ Tickets open in early August — reserve your spot here.

🤝 Volunteer with us — join from early September at a reduced cost in exchange for your help and heart. ***************@***il.com/”>Write to us to apply.

🎤 Share your voice — we still have a few spots open for talks and workshops. Fill out this form for ENIS 2026. More details on offering sessions at ECCO 2027 coming soon here.

Build with us

Our crowdfunding campaign runs through the end of August, and to everyone who’s already given — thank you, and blessings. What you’re building is so much more than a kitchen. It’s a community center, a BioHub, rising because of you.

Looking ahead, we plan to host the Spring Festivities of the valley every September, alongside many more workshops at San Jorge’s School. Any funds raised beyond our current goal will go toward bringing native leaders from across the Peruvian jungle — and beyond — to ECCO 2027. Contribute here.

We hope to see you by the river, in Oxapampa.

With gratitude,
CASA Perú and CASA Latina

ENIS Ticket Price: S/.150 to S/.350 (€40 to €90)*
*Our sliding-scale pricing lets you pay what you can. The minimum covers your food and transportation, while higher contributions help subsidize participation for others.
