The Instituto Anjos do Sertão (IAS), in a formal description, is a non-profit organization located in the city of Canto do Buriti, in the southern part of the state of Piauí, Brazil.
We were born from the desire to discover the natural, social, and cultural riches of the Caatinga, a wise and fascinating environment. We seek to show the world how a real impact investment model can preserve this unique universe.
Beyond formalities, we are human beings in search of practices that integrate new approaches to relating and living on the planet, in order to cultivate, distribute, and consume food that honors the earth, people, and life.
It is through regenerative territorial development that we can give voice to local communities, foster collective actions, and facilitate the exchange of experiences. In this way, we create a space that enables the emergence of solutions derived from collective thinking, always co-constructed with the collaboration of everyone in the territory.
