What we do

What an incredible moment to be alive
Here we stand, at the convergence of the intertwining crises that threaten the future of all life on earth, and the growing awakening to our place in the web of life as caretakers of this precious blue-green sphere floating in space.
With the technology and knowledge now capable of both destroying and regenerating life on earth, we have become the keystone species of this planet.
The question now is can we overcome the powers of greed and hatred in time to evolve into a civilization of equality, compassion and regeneration, or will nature bring us back to living within planetary boundaries?
If you’re reading this, then you’ve probably also decided that a future that supports life is rooted in community. A community of humans living and working with each other, and living consciously and respectfully within the larger community of life that supports us.
This is what we have been working to develop for 10 years in the Southern Gulf Islands off the coast of British Columbia. We have poured our minds, hearts, spirits and bank accounts into creating a space that can support life through this great transition we are now in the midst of. With a healthy mix of Permaculture and trial and error we have been diligently setting up resilient and off grid systems of energy, water, food, shelter and community.
We have reached the point where we can no longer continue expanding our vision without the support of a larger community of people living and working together. Our core team is made up of extended family members who are either too young, too old, too tired or moving in a different direction, for us to be able to hold what we have created alone anymore.
This is an invitation for anyone who shares our vision of a future that is grounded in regenerative food systems, interdependent community living, love and reverence for all forms of life, a commitment to personal and collective growth and healing, and a desire to build this future together.
