What we do

For now we are only 4 and we want to build an eco-village, but we know that people will be called to us at the right time… Two of us are a moroccan couple, we have one belgo-moroccan and one french girls.
We all are artists in different ways: paintors, fire jugglers, jewelry creators, hula hoopers, video artists, dancers, sculptors, musicians, recycling artists, art therapists, etc…
Our land (2,5 ha)is in a rural area, close to a small small city: Kelaa des Sraghnas (a little less than 1 hour from Marrakech)
We will dig the well soon (inchaalah) and hope to begin the first constructions as soon as possible.
Fabien, our friend and permaculture master will design our agricultural area and Rachid, our earthbag constructions master will help us raise our houses from the ground :)
Our purposes are multiple, aiming surrounding local people and international people also:
-Promote art: making events, juggling conventions, expositions, residencies, workshops, etc.
-Awaken the kids, making alternative camps, receiving the “different” kids (so called autists, and so called handicaped who don’t find their place in society, they can come to visit us, help us, live with us…),
-Spread a smooth spiritual islam, as a lot of muslims don’t know their own religion, making spiritual retreats, yoga, meditation, healings…
-Cultivate the earth in a permacultural way and be self sufficient, spread this method all around
-Eating healthy and spreading the good news about food related regeneration and healing
-Organizing women circles to give them back their power, just the power of being, locally and internationally
-Live sustainably in ecological, organic houses… earthbag domes seem to be the best choice for now…
-Build a real community, using tools as dragon dreaming methods and non violent communication

European Ecovillage Conference

The Global Ecovillage Network Europe (GEN Europe) announces the 21st edition of its summer conference, “Conscious Happiness: Living the Future Today- Solidarity, Resilience & Hope” July 16th-20th 2017 at the Swedish ecovillage Ӓngsbacka. This annual event, which draws hundreds of intentional communitarians and their supporters from across Europe each year, offers speakers, expositions, workshops and a place to meet, inspire and be inspired. In an era of uncertain ecological and political futures, Robert Hall, GEN Europe’s Council President, invites participants to “come and network with Europe’s grassroots change-makers. Join us to learn ways of increasing your happiness while being of greater service to humanity and the planet.” This year’s conference themes of Solidarity, Resilience and Hope will weave into conference workshops and activity tracks, gathered together by keynote speakers Charles Eisenstein and Helena Norberg-Hodge. Keynote Speakers Charles Eisenstein is a self-described “degrowth activist” and the internationally-acclaimed author of “Sacred Economics” and “The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know is Possible”, described by Publisher’s Weekly as “a revolutionary and interactive book…inspires the reader to think out of the ordinary.” He has been described as “one of the up-and-coming great minds of our time.” Helena Norberg-Hodge is a pioneer of the ‘new economy’ movement, where she has been promoting an economics of personal, social and ecological well-being for more than thirty years. She is an author, filmmaker and director of the organization Local Futures, which promotes a systemic shift away from e
