We are excited to announce the sixth extended PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE (PDC) that will be hosted in Tinos Eco-lodge welcoming for the third time Peter Cow from England and assistant teacher Nicolas Bedau from Greece, Alexandros Kostis from Greece, Bram van Overbeeke from Holland, and other guest teachers soon to be announced. Peter, Alexandros, Bram and Nico will combine their skills from both Northern and Southern ecosystems and climatic conditions and will put emphasis on Social permaculture as well as Regenerative agriculture, with lots of hands on and practicals during the course. The course will be taught in English. The Permaculture Design Certificate The Permaculture Design Certificate is an 80 hour theoretical course based on Bill Mollison’s Designers Manual, and the 35 years of creativity, research and development in the worldwide Permaculture movement since. It explores how we can use today’s tools and technology to create a more sustainable world. Permaculture is not only about growing vegetables and animals, it is a whole sustainable lifestyle such as creating community, developing efficient and beautiful homes and growing healthy, happy people. Permaculture ethics are Earth Care, People Care and Return of Surplus and this is taught by showing students to focus on local resources and their local community, and to have well thought out design practices to create abundance sustainably. In this course we added 2 extra days to have more time for practicals and hands on experience. Peter, Alexandros, Nikos and Bram will share their wide knowledge and experience as well as their creative teaching techniques to guide us through the principles of permaculture, gaining a thorough understanding of how we can use our natural resources for our own sustenance while restoring and taking care

Evolutionary change needs new leadership qualities. The zeitgeist is a calling for a transformation of fear-based behaviour into participatory action with co-empowerment, transparency, connection and flow. Social competencies and leadership qualities necessary for this transition are made up of two ingredients: the ability to benefit from conflict and the ability to create cooperation. Empathic Communication is a key skill enabling leaders to enter into new forms of contact with themselves, with people around them and with their environment. It includes deeper listening and empathy to connect us with the context in which we act and it supports integrative growth. In this training course we will offer a basic introduction into the community building process of ZEGG Forum. Forum is a ritualized form of transparent communication to create trust and clarity in groups. In addition to this participants experience other approaches to connected communication such as non-violent and intercultural communication, deep ecology and possibility management. We want to explore a) how to get into deeper contact with ourselves and b) different methods of collective intelligence in order to enter new ways of empathic leadership and achieve higher quality in our life. Aim: To develop participants’ qualities of empathic leadership and to deepen their competencies in interpersonal communication in order to create an enriching learning environment and a higher quality of projects in cooperation with different involved actors. DESCRIPCIÓN Esta formación cubre desde la cimentación; las consideraciones que hay que tomar para diseñar la banqueta, para luego pasar a saber cómo ejecutar un muro de balas de paja con el sistema Nebraska. También explicaremos qué criterios hay que seguir en las cubiertas, tan importantes para proteger nuestras construcciones . Naturalmente mostraremos cómo proteger adecuadamente los muros con los revestimientos de tierra arcillosa. Primero aprenderemos cómo preparar las superficies,cómo averiguar las proporciones adecuadas de nuestro mortero de tierra y cómo aplicarlo. Para ello hemos ideado este curso eminentemente práctico (aproximadamente 70% práctica 30% teoría) dirigido a autoconstructores. Construye tu casa con balas de paja 28ª edición, 12-18 mayo. Para aprender a construir de forma sana, ecológica y eficaz En el curso estudiaremos y practicaremos todo lo necesario para poder construir uno mismo su casa: principios, materiales, herramientas, etc. Temas: • La ecología en la construcción. • Arquitectura bioclimática: Diseño, elementos bioclimáticos, etc • Las casas de balas de paja. • Cubiertas verdes. • El Proyecto de tu casa. Cómo hacer un diseño adecuado. • Qué se necesita y cuánto cuesta. • Proceso de construcción por fases: cimentación, estructura, cubierta, cerramientos, revoco, instalaciones, etc. • Prácticas en una construcción de paja. Se irán trabajando las partes fundamentales de la construcción en práctica. Se levantará una construcción autoportante, con muro de carga de balas de paja.
