What we do

The Love Plan is currently re-evaluating its location, among other things. If our lifestyle interests (see below) call to you, you’re welcome to email us to establish a connection. Where ever we are, we’re excited about living our values. :-)
We are a pair of homesteaders, living within (about) a 15 min. walk of the downtown of Mount Dora, Florida. We’ve been here since 2014, working to establish a more off-grid residence and self-sufficient food forest. In 2020, we joyfully went car-free. We make efforts to be generalists, involved in our own projects (i.e., those aspects of life that we welcome into our lives, such as home maintenance, gardening, building furniture, education, health care, and social and community connections). So far, we’ve been maintaining our 675 sq. ft., 2-bedroom, 1938 home; and feeding our edible garden on the stuff that we have, here on the land (almost an acre). We’ve grown over 60 different species of edible plants; mostly fruit trees (which we’ve felt deeply grateful for). Mostly, we eat a low-fat, raw, vegan diet; having done so for about 10 years. Occasionally, we’re excited to see animals in our yard (exx., birds, domestic cats, lizards, opossums, raccoons, rodents, and snakes). We live with some 25, plus, ft. trees and intend to harmonize with our landscape; so we’ve seen that some of the animals make a home, here. :-) In addition to the garden, we’ve built about half of our furniture; which we made out of solid wood and rubbed with an edible, walnut oil.
We enjoy living with (more nearly) “just enough,” beauty, cleanliness, and tidiness. We often find ourselves analyzing life matters, such as health, freedom, spirituality, and the workings of reality. Our vision is of a volunteer society (one without capital). We aim for our ideals in everything we think and do. We love compassionate communication and working on developing egalitarian relating! We aim for a life of love and harmony with everyone and everything! :-)

Social Media Intern for GEN International Hours: Up to 20/month, flexible around your schedule and availability Location: Remote, work with Eva Goldfarb Focus: Instagram + LinkedIn (TikTok if you’re into it!) Hi! I’m Eva, and I run social media for GEN International — the global network connecting ecovillages, intentional communities, and regenerative culture-builders across every continent. I’m looking for a co-conspirator to help me tell the stories of the people quietly building the future: off-grid villages in the Philippines, permaculture farms in Senegal, urban cohousing projects in Berlin, elders passing down land wisdom in the Andes. It’s a wildly rich, wildly underrepresented world, and I want more people to fall in love with it the way I have. What you’ll actually do: Dream up and create content for Instagram and LinkedIn (reels, carousels, stories, captions that don’t sound like a corporate newsletter) Dig into our global network and turn your findings into stories people want to share Pitch your own ideas. If there’s a series, a theme, a format, or a corner of the network that lights you up, that’s what I want you to focus on. What we’re looking for: A natural storyteller, someone who can spot the human thread in a project update or a photo from a faraway village Genuinely curious about ecovillages, sustainability, intentional community, regenerative living Self-motivated and communicative; this is a flexible, trust-based role Why this role: This isn’t a “post 3x a week and don’t ask questions” internship. You’ll have real creative freedom to work on what excites you, learn how a global grassroots network tells its story, and build a portfolio full of meaningful, purpose-driven content. Plus you’ll be talking to people living some of the most interesting, intentional lives on the planet. If storytelling for a better world sounds like your kind of fun, let’s talk.

Deepening Love - Forum Workshop

n this training we will look deeper at our path in love, in relationships and in our sexuality. We will create a field of intimacy and trust to open our hearts and souls to find mutual support in learning from each other. Love is not an airy feeling but an inner attitude and we will find out how we become more mature in our various worlds of love. Love is life fully lived – we want to connect with our deeper longings and find ways of how to bring them more into our reality. ZEGG Forum is a great tool to create more clarity, openness, and depth in our life. Loving is Seeing – Seeing means Loving. With every person who shares his/her deep motivations or feelings in the centre of a group’s attention, trust, empowerment, and love will grow. So we will work with ZEGG Forum and other methods to learn to feel deeper and so step consciously from separation to connection. We will work with the compass of feelings and learn to be with our feelings & emotions. The more we start to feel and to accept what is instead of what should be the more real, clear and radiant our lives become. We learn to enjoy the mirrors of others and dare to be open. We will grow together as a community in time and experience the healing power of trusted people. More information about ZEGG Forum: www.zegg-forum.org Seminar language: English Faciliatator: Ina Meyer-Stoll and Achim Ecker Price: € 350 / 300 / 250 course fee (self-assessment) + € 202 board & lodging and health resort tax.
