El Valle abre sus puertas a la primavera invitando a las personas que quieran venir a visitarnos para compartir este día. Celebramos como cada equinoccio y solsticio un encuentro para conectarnos a los ritmos de la naturaleza. Se presentaran algunos proyectos personales y colectivos, contaremos sobre la Red de Ecoaldeas y La Red de Construcción con Paja y visitaremos el entorno. La comida será compartida, (comida de traje), yo traje, tú trajiste, el trajo…….. Prepararemos nuestras especialidades culinarias con productos de la zona y mucho amor, esperamos que traigáis vuestros mejores platos camperos. Horario: 11:30 a 18:00. The Communities for Future Summit is an entirely free, online experience hosted by the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN). From the 1 to 10 February 2020 we will daily unlock 3 interviews with well known thought leaders, change makers, indigenous elders, community lovers and youth activists from around the planet. During the Summit, we will explore: Systemic change – a complete transformation of our human institutions and workplaces, Inner change – the inner healing that is needed in order for us to heal our relationships to the world around us; Change on the Ground – how communities around the planet are already becoming space of regeneration; and Youth Change – the young people who are taking to the streets, raising their voices and demanding climate justice for future generations. Together, we will engage in finding our authentic response to the Climate Emergency, a response that is not driven by urgency, fear, panic and hurry, but comes from a deep sense of connectedness, love and responsibility. Young people are taking to the streets, demanding that we all take urgent action on the climate and planetary crisis. GEN is picking up the baton and inviting all of us to manifest the needed change now, protecting, restoring and transforming in our communities, municipalities and countries. A two-week course of log house construction is suitable for everyone who wants to learn the basics of this type construction. The whole process of constructing a small log house will cover several areas: How to prepare the logs: – ordering suitable timber – marking, measuring, selecting logs – removing the bank and peeling logs How to build a wall: – the basic principles – choosing the first log – choosing the following logs for the wall – drawing and cutting notches – drawing and cutting saddle notches and grooves – making window and door holes During the course you will build a small house from pine logs. Previous skills in the field of construction from logs are not required, but you must be aware that you will do a lot of physical work during the course, so be physically prepared. The course will also cover some short theoretical lectures in the classroom, but most of the course will be practical work on the site.
