Hi! I’m Eva, and I run social media for GEN International — the global network connecting ecovillages, intentional communities, and regenerative culture-builders across every continent. I’m looking for a co-conspirator to help me tell the stories of the people quietly building the future: off-grid villages in the Philippines, permaculture farms in Senegal, urban cohousing projects in Berlin, elders passing down land wisdom in the Andes. It’s a wildly rich, wildly underrepresented world, and I want more people to fall in love with it the way I have. What you’ll actually do: Dream up and create content for Instagram and LinkedIn (reels, carousels, stories, captions that don’t sound like a corporate newsletter) Dig into our global network and turn your findings into stories people want to share Pitch your own ideas. If there’s a series, a theme, a format, or a corner of the network that lights you up, that’s what I want you to focus on. What we’re looking for: A natural storyteller, someone who can spot the human thread in a project update or a photo from a faraway village Genuinely curious about ecovillages, sustainability, intentional community, regenerative living Self-motivated and communicative; this is a flexible, trust-based role Why this role: This isn’t a “post 3x a week and don’t ask questions” internship. You’ll have real creative freedom to work on what excites you, learn how a global grassroots network tells its story, and build a portfolio full of meaningful, purpose-driven content. Enfocada en: Instalar relaciones profesionales y vivenciales basadas en la cooperación Desarrollar una visión positiva de los roles de liderazgo. Saber ejercer un liderazgo sólido,inclusivo, eficiente. Compartir el poder sin diluirlo ni perderlo. Descubrir y profundizar en diferentes procesos del modo de gobernanza sociocratico. Explorar estrategias para integrar en la practica las herramientas de la sociocracia. Desarrollar el espiritu de equipo y el sentimiento de pertenencia entre colaboradores. Afrontar las situaciones difíciles y tomar las decisiones pertinentes para mantener la ruta. Facilitar la co-creación, la dirección y el autodesarrollo de las organizaciónes. Los dos Módulos de iniciación se pueden realizar en el orden que cada cual elija. OCT.2013. Modulo 2- Dirigir personas, equipos, organizaciones, colectividades. Objetivo: al terminar el modulo la persona será capaz de: Atender al impacto de las estructuras de comunicación y de toma de decisiones sobre el comportamiento humano. Reconocer la pertinencia de la estructura sociocratica para guiar los procesos de cambio. Aplicar en el medio vital del trabajo u otras oeganizaciones los principios de gobernanza sociocratica. Integrar en la práctica profesional los principios de gobernanza sociocratica. Rehacer la ingeniería de una organización integrando la estructura de los círculos sociocraticos. The Global Ecovillage Network invites for a time of knowledge transfer, sharing, collaboration and networking. A movement is picking upmomentum: new ecovillages and communities in the countryside and in cities emerge worldwide and existing ones keep on growing. In the global south traditional villages adopt strategies of social and environmental sustainability – and as a result a fair, equal exchange between North and South comes about. Considering the economic and social crises and considering the poverty or urban loneliness more and more people are joining together to take over mutual responsibility for their region, their environment, their resources and their children. They learn from the experiences of many existing ecovillages about decentralized energy autonomy, about organic farming, about decision-making in communities, regional economics, and much more. At the 19th GEN Europe conference representatives and interested persons of ecovillages and communities across Europe meet, to network with each other and with other movements. The conference is open to community seekers and community representatives , activists from development- and environmental organizations , experts on decentralized solutions in economy, ecology and social knowledge as well as simply for people, who look for a better life. am***********@********pe.org
