Giorgia Fenu Patteri

She/her
Sardinian family of four looking to join a community

About me

  • I am looking for an ecovillage
  • I am a professional that can offer a skill to ecovillages

Hi, I’m Giorgia, from Sardinia, Italy. I’m currently living in Australia with my husband Davide and our two children, aged six and two.

We’re looking for a community somewhere warm, where we can live closer to nature, share everyday responsibilities and have more time together. We’d love our children to grow up around people of different ages, learning through exploring, making things and joining in.

Davide has been a chef for 16 years and also has experience with gardening, maintenance and plumbing. My background is in languages, communication and administration. I speak Italian, Spanish and English, and can help with translations, writing, social media and organisation.

Community life is new to us. We have plenty to learn, and we’d like to get involved, share what we know and find out how we can be useful.

We’re hoping to join an existing community, ideally with other families and children. We’re looking for a simple place to live and are open to a work exchange, a modest monthly contribution or a combination of both. We’d be happy to begin with a trial stay and get to know each other.
