The Society for Indigenous Languages, Communities and Cultures (SILCC) is a Sierra Leonean non-profit organization working at the intersection of indigenous knowledge, cultural heritage, and environmental conservation. We believe that when a language disappears, the ecological knowledge, traditions, and identity it carries are also at risk. Our work empowers indigenous communities to preserve their heritage while contributing practical solutions to today’s environmental and social challenges.
