About me

Since childhood I have a huge passion for country life, plants , seeds , animals and people !
I studied botany , soil regeneration , worked in the natural park of Sintra in Portugal for a few years where I learned lots of skills , from plant propagation , seed collection and conservation , recognition of pests and diseases in plants ( trees ) , learned historical gardening .
I work with about 900 species of natural flora of the region ( sintra) in which half of them are Mediterranean, and about 10% are plants worldwide are found only in one area, the rest are endangered species, which are in the Serra de Sintra, favorable conditions for their survival.
One of my main jobs is colect and save seeds of endemic and highly endangered species.
started a project to permaculture gardens in schools in 2008 and has since I have worked with schools in my community .
During this journey I was giving training in various areas related to sustainability , conservation and collection of seeds , vegetable gardens on balconies , permaculture in the kitchen ( fermented ) , composting , permaculture for children and schools , natural soap , Urban permaculture, and various workshops do yourself .
I got involved in various projects of community gardens in some towns near Lisbon .
I became involved in the project as voluntary and Campanha das sementes livres and develop some workshops related to collection and conservation of traditional seed varieties and helped collect traditional seeds with the farmers .

the best legacy i can leave to my children is a healthy planet!
I am currently involved in several Permaculture projects in Portugal where I develop design, consultancy and training in permaculture.

I’m looking for a co-conspirator to help me tell the stories of the people quietly building the future: off-grid villages in the Philippines, permaculture farms in Senegal, urban cohousing projects in Berlin, elders passing down land wisdom in the Andes. It’s a wildly rich, wildly underrepresented world, and I want more people to fall in love with it the way I have. What you’ll actually do: Dream up and create content for Instagram and LinkedIn (reels, carousels, stories, captions that don’t sound like a corporate newsletter) Dig into our global network and turn your findings into stories people want to share Pitch your own ideas. If there’s a series, a theme, a format, or a corner of the network that lights you up, that’s what I want you to focus on. Whitsun festival

What do you know about your feelings? Where do they come from and what are they there for? Quote from the book “Feelings, How to Use Them Intelligently”, Vivian Dittmar. To know more about how you create feelings through interpretation of what is happening allows you to interact in a powerful way with your environment. This is not about controlling and manipulating your feelings. Instead, it is about knowing their true source and being able to take responsibility. It is about using your feelings to connect to life and share your beauty and your inspiration  while at the same time healing old emotions that previously were not visible. This festival can completely change your perspective on how you deal with feelings in your life! And more: It will surely enrich your perspective on how to be in the world and contribute powerfully to a sustainable, creative and nourishing lifestyle. An atelier for consciousness, creativity and joie de vivre. International Ecovillage Design Education

This international Ecovillage Design Education course (EDE) is a four week course that is certified by Gaia Education (www.gaiaeducation.org) & recognised as a contributor to UNESCO Global Action Programme (GAP) on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This Ecovillage Design Education course will be held from the 29th of July until the 26th of August, 2018 at Gaia Ashram, Thailand. The curriculum for this course has been developed by Gaia Education and is often referred to as EDE. The EDE provides students of all ages with the knowledge and practical skills on how to design a society or a community/village which uses energy and materials with greater efficiency, distributes wealth fairly and strives to eliminate the concept of waste. The knowledge of EDE is also adaptable for personal or family level of transformation, in urban and rural contexts. This EDE is also supported and acknowledged by the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) and is actively supported on the ground by a collaboration of GENOA (Global Ecovillage Network of Oceania & Asia) & NextGENOA (the youth network of GENOA).
