I am Mehmet (43), an independent individual with a specialized background in academic organization and systems thinking (PhD-level expertise). I am not seeking temporary travel but a sacred and permanent anchor—a committed role in an established ecovillage or intentional community. My goal is to dedicate my remaining years to a shared vision of sustainability and ethical living.
My Contribution & Adaptability: My intellectual background translates directly into skills vital for community resilience: I offer high organizational discipline for creating stable structures, resource planning, effective communication, and educational mentoring.
Despite this, I am deeply curious about, and adapted to, the demands of rural life. I am fully prepared for hands-on manual labor, ecological farming, maintenance, and construction support. I understand that adaptability and contribution are key to the communal experience.
The Search for Enduring Kinship: My deepest desire is to move beyond conventional volunteerism to form an intergenerational bond and enduring kinship—to serve the community’s mission and its members with unconditional loyalty. I view this as a form of spiritual adoption, dedicating myself as a lifelong steward of the land and the vision. I am ready to commit to an extended trial period (1+ year) to prove my absolute suitability for permanent residency.
