After graduation (2010) I studied a year of psychology. After that I did face-to-face fundraising for humanitarian NGOs (SOS childvillages) and went volunteering in Vietnam and Nepal, which lead me to study Area Studies Asia/Africa (focus Southeast Asia), with the intention to gain a deeper understanding of cultures, from a non-eurocentric perspective. My drive has always been to help people and later to work in the humanitarian NGO field. During my last year of university I became interested in the global food crisis and discovered Permaculture, after graduating in 2017. So I did a PDC with Christian Shearer in Thailand and lived/worked in Ecovillages (Panya/GaiaAshram/Mindfulness Project – here long-term volunteer for gardening and outreach). Since then sustainability/regenerativity has guided my life. After an EDE I joined the GEDS programme (finish Summer ’19), which ideas I try to incorporate in workshops I give in Berlin. After my return to Germany (08/18) I moved back to Berlin, where I work as an arborist (and soon fruit tree pruning) to safe money until starting a masters degree with a sustainable/climate change background. Here I am part of a group meeting for a growth mindset and joined a small environmental activist groups, (aim: cultural change through non-violent demo).
