Hi! I’m Eva, and I run social media for GEN International — the global network connecting ecovillages, intentional communities, and regenerative culture-builders across every continent. I’m looking for a co-conspirator to help me tell the stories of the people quietly building the future: off-grid villages in the Philippines, permaculture farms in Senegal, urban cohousing projects in Berlin, elders passing down land wisdom in the Andes. It’s a wildly rich, wildly underrepresented world, and I want more people to fall in love with it the way I have. What you’ll actually do: Dream up and create content for Instagram and LinkedIn (reels, carousels, stories, captions that don’t sound like a corporate newsletter) Dig into our global network and turn your findings into stories people want to share Pitch your own ideas. If there’s a series, a theme, a format, or a corner of the network that lights you up, that’s what I want you to focus on. What we’re looking for: A natural storyteller, someone who can spot the human thread in a project update or a photo from a faraway village Genuinely curious about ecovillages, sustainability, intentional community, regenerative living Self-motivated and communicative; this is a flexible, trust-based role Why this role: This isn’t a “post 3x a week and don’t ask questions” internship. You’ll have real creative freedom to work on what excites you, learn how a global grassroots network tells its story, and build a portfolio full of meaningful, purpose-driven content. Cuidar la Tierra, Cuidar las Personas La Permacultura nos ofrece nuevas formas de pensar, hacer y ser que pueden ser utilizadas individual y colectivamente para crear culturas humanas sostenibles en armonía con la naturaleza. Permacultura trata sobre diseñar casas, huertas, granjas, comunidades y proyectos saludables y sostenibles. Es aplicada en todo el mundo desde pequeña escala como puede ser el balcón hasta gran escala en gestión de terrenos. En este curso introductorio aprenderemos los fundamentos del diseño de permacultura con la oportunidad de hacer una práctica de mini diseño en las tierras de Valderrodas Aldea. Durante cuatro días exploraremos las bases teóricas de la permacultura y también dedicaremos al menos la mitad del curso realizando diversas actividades: un diseño real en el lugar, trabajos en la huerta, prácticas en bioconstrucción y aprendiendo sobre reforestación. Este curso está dirigido para todas aquellas personas que quieran descubrir unas nociones básicas de permacultura; así como para aquellas que quieran prepararse para el Curso de Diseño Certificado de 72 horas. Este curso introductorio te ofrece las herramientas para realizar cambios positivos en tu vida. Te mostraremos ejemplos inspiradores de sistemas vivos de permacultura en España y en el mundo. Y realizaremos una visita guiada al proyecto Valderrodas Aldea, descubriendo sus técnicas de vida sostenible y reforestación. Metodología El curso está facilitado de acuerdo a los últimos conocimientos sobre facilitación, favoreciendo diferentes tipos de interrelación entre el equipo facilitador y l@s participantes y sobretodo cuidando los diferentes tipos de inteligencia que permiten a cada cual de aprender de una manera única. Por ello habrá una alternancia de ponencias, discusiones, pases de diapositivas, actividades prácticas, trabajo grupal, vídeos, juegos de rol, observación, visitas guiadas, como métodos de aprendizaje; tejiendo teoría y práctica para crear unas

The New School Permaculture PDC is centred on the needs of the student so you get what you want and what you need with a course adapted to your projects, needs and dreams. This course is presented by creative non formal education methods, that are based on creating a bridge between the right and left side of the brain, so that the analytical and creative abilities of the students get fully stimulated and get the most out of the experience…for many people is the most empowering and inspiring transformative process of their lives…and they carry this with them everywere they go….and thats our goal. The course follows a set syllabus and leads to the internationally recognised Permaculture Design Certificate. Taught by Helder Valente of the New School Permaculture. Helder studied and worked with Bill Mollison, Sepp Holzer, Doug Bullock, Rosemary Morrow, Darren dougherty, Ernst Gotsh and others, and is now teaching all over the world, he started in 2009 teaching permaculture to students at the agriculture university and since then learning and teaching on many different climates. While living in the city he dedicated 3 years on developing a urban permaculture project in the center of Lisbon and co created several Permaculture Institutes worldwide. That’s how it all started. Helder never stopped and this last months spent his time working with Quechua farmers in the Andes and designing projects in the Amazon jungle. You can be part of the PDC and also chose to be part of the PFC, a course that will teach you for 5 days everything about food forests, Course will be in a beautifull farm in the North of Portugal.
