The 5th International Degrowth Conference will foster discussion between scholars, researchers, civil society and practitioners about their degrowth-related research and activities. Simultaneously, across Budapest, Degrowth Week will bring discussions, public panels, artistic performances and exhibitions, practical workshops and conviviality events into public space. This open platform for degrowth dialogue, practice, networking and expression will introduce Degrowth to Budapest and its inhabitants, and also to the scholars, researchers, civil society and practitioners being present at the conference. Beyond the summit! All welcome! Let’s gather again for an informal afternoon at my home to bring the amazing Communities for Future Online Summit 2020 into our local context. As per Kosha Joubert’s encouraging words, when I set up the event hub: ‘life knows where it wants to flow’, a participant of our first meeting two weeks ago has kindly suggested to bring a ‘watermark meditation’ – for more info see instagram @sonderflow. We can also screen interviews, talk, connect with each other …. share tea and biscuits … see what we find amongst us – resources, dialogue, enthusiasm, the courage to connect!

We are happy to watch and discuss any of the films with those interested! Just reach out to us to coordinate a viewing
