Camp Auroville is 9-day immersion program for 16-18 year olds, using Auroville as a campus and its outstanding experience in sustainable living as a curriculum for learning and personal growth. It is a learning-in-action program connecting core human values, design theory, ideation, and hands-on work around personalized themes. The aim of this program is to empower youth to embody principles of ecological stewardship for the promotion of human and environmental wellbeing.
Students will be working on a compulsory urban agriculture project. The project will be used as an entry point to learn about technical subjects such as: Sustainable Water Management, Organic Food Production, Ecological Thinking, Renewable Energy Systems, Sustainable Waste Management, Green Architecture. Other activities: Appreciation of the Arts & Culture of Auroville, Theater Games and Awareness Through the Body, Capoeira.
