Nature Connected Community Design

During this week we will explore what it means to create and to be community. We will use permaculture principles, permaculture design and practices from indigenous cultures worldwide as our main toolbox. At the same time we will be experiencing community life first-hand in the new eco-community of Haslachhof, which will be our venue, our village and our social landscape to design for and with. We will also be sharing practices of cultural repair as they have been gathered over time by earth-based people worldwide and spread by the 8 shields community. On top of this connecting with self and others we will also connect to the land and its creatures – we are blessed to have forests and a creek nearby. We will practice nature connected community design by working on design exercises relating to the Haslachhof community. This course is for everyone interested in community design and suits people who have already done a full 72 hours permaculture design course and want to deepen their social permaculture skills as well as for people without any previous permaculture or nature connection experience who want to learn about community design and deep nature connection. Come and… Live a week in an evolving community! Learn about community building! Practice permaculture principles and social permaculture design! Explore techniques for cultural repair! Deepen your nature connection! Course facilitators: Lien de Coster Lien is an inner tracker who guides people on their path towards nature and soul connection. Laboratorio - La rueda medicinal

In March, directly after the Gaia-Initiation Valle de Sensacoines will host the first Ecovillage Laboratory. It is essential to attend a Gaia-Initiation as an introduction to the topic! In this laboratory time we will dedicate ourselves to the use of the medicine wheel as a tool to accompany communitarian and personal processes. This ancient system represents all aspects of BEING – in a circular form. It is well suitable for accompanying and supporting human processes: Conflict resolution in communities Group dynamic in a work team Communitarian project development Creative processes Self-reflection and personal growth The nowadays popular tool to use the medicine wheel for project work is the so-called Dragon Dreaming. In this laboratory time we also invite people who work with Dragon Dreaming, to reflect the variety of possibilities of the use of the medicine wheel. Condition of Participation We invite people with experience in the work with the medicine wheel and also newcomers that are interested in the use of the medicine wheel in their life situation. People who already participated in Gaia Initiations in previous years or other places can directly start with the laboratory time. Others should attend the Gaia-Initation that is happening right before this laboratory time in Valle de Sensaciones. – Or if you have experiences with the medicine wheel in other contexts, document them in the application form and we will have a look if a participation independent of the Gaia-Initiation seems to be reasonable. For applications you find a button at: http://www.sensaciones.de/en/node/247
