We have lived around the world and have found that community tends to build itself. We don’t feel the need for obligatory community events, functions or services. We do not need participants to see everything exactly as we see things. We are however particularly interested in people that have a strong drive to become self sufficient. We are particularly interested in people that are looking and thinking outside of the mainstream narrative.
There will be a few very simple rules to agree to up front, other than that, “my land is my land, your land is your land”. There will be a small community area that we can share. We believe that as we always have in the past, we will manifest good people around us, and community will organically build on mutual respect, love, and similar interests.
We think there will likely be a time soon where it will be much safer to be outside of towns and cities, living an agrarian lifestyle. We are planning now, ahead of time. We are available to assist with all areas of building your homestead. We are selling off portions of an incredible 200 hectare piece of land, you can buy as little as 2 acres. We can help you with cabin construction, pond creating, food forests, greenhouses, and alternative energy solutions. Or, you can do it all yourself. The land will be legally deeded to you.
There are no obligations of your time, no monthly expenses. We will share the cost of maintaining the private road that will run through the property. That’s it. We do encourage trading and sharing, as well as volunteer time working on and maintaining the communal space, but that’s on a volunteer / optional basis. We will outline what we’re doing regarding our crops and livestock, maybe there will be something slightly different that you’ll want to focus on / include so that we will be able to trade.. We also strongly encourage including ample stored foods.

Hello. I recently visited rural SE Ecuador near Gualaquiza between the Andes and the Amazon. There are 3 vegan/fruitarian communities in that area. i enjoyed my stay there very much, and I also am a raw fruitarian interested in Fruit Forest permaculture. I would like to learn more about your planned community. I am in the process of looking for land to purchase (4-10 hectares).

sharing your vision for the upcoming future, we have recently left the UK ( and Europe ) and have landed in the Loja province, to get to know the area and the people around here, with a view to settle in Ecuador as soon as possible.
Our view is that each family shall have their own private land and house, and then common areas would be a welcome addition, to develop a community life and potential activities, for those who would like to do so. Ecovillages, where sharing is the rule, require a thorough psychological/inner preparation, and risk failure if the members don’t work on themselves.
In the past we had lived in Latin America (Paraguay, Uruguay), and more recently in the UK, although we originally come from Italy, so we can speak with you in Spanish or English.
Our main interests are in the harmonious development of Man, through inner knowledge. From a professional point of view, we have worked in various fields, in the industry ( electronic engineering ), commerce, and education. If the situation gets too serious, though, we can run Laughter Yoga sessions, and are apprentices permaculturists.
We’d love to learn more about you, the current members, and the area where the land sits.
