Our intentional community practises innovation in agriculture, education, deep psychology, governance, conflict resolution, natural medicines, art, energy, shared economy, and above all, empowering each individual. The founders were inspired by Jungian psychology and dreamwork as a way to transform fears and pains into power to access hidden talents.
Our mission is constantly evolving to respond to the global need for change at this special time in history.
After 33 years, we are well-established and broad, integrating the main dimensions of sustainability.
Ecology: It developed gradually by listening to our needs and connecting to our natural environment. Today we are 75% self-sufficient in food and 100% in water and energy. We prevent erosion and desertification as well as regenerate the land.
Community: Dynamic, diverse and multi-generational, organised sociocratically. We use dreamwork, Process Work, Forum tools, systemic constellations etc.
Culture: We celebrate achievements to nourish the meaning of our project. We value art and meditation for group cohesion. We believe spirituality comes when hearts are open, when relationships become creative, based in trust, respect and collaboration.
Economy: founded on gift economy which developed into a mixed economy incorporating community enterprises and individual income sources. We have achieved economic sustainability through producing food and hosting visitors.
We apply permaculture holistically, exploring the correspondence between inside and outside and support the self-regulating aspects of the group and collective intelligence.
We are active in our local environment (government, schools, and networks). We share knowledge, and practices through free guided visits, workshops, and events.
An urban extension of Los Portales in Madrid, Crealliance, aims to promote alliances, bridging people from different backgrounds through sharing information and networking.
