We are a group of individuals working together with the Indian NGO ‘Movement for Rural Emancipation’. Namely, our group consists of graduates and students of the Technical University of Munich studying in the field of environmental planning and sustainable resource management. The cooperation with the Indian team of MORE NGO began in December 2015 emanating from the joint visit of a conference by Prasad Aluganti and Franziska Weißörtel. That meeting and discussion about the possibilities for organic agroforestry as a means to combat negative effects of climate change and socio-economic carination led to the implementation of Toranam project in October 2017
We are also welcoming interested people from all around the world to either help us through volunteering or to attend our workshops and seminars. For this purpose, we are about to build some Eco Huts on the farm for people to stay.
Our objective is to set up a demonstration farm for sustainable and resilient Agroforestry. The farm will also host a centre for environmental education, act as a business hub for processing and marketing of produce and a platform to exchange knowledge, tools and planting materials.

To join our community, you should have a strong passion for environmental protection and sustainable agriculture. It is also important to understand that we practise the best and most sustainable solutions and ways for the farmers, and are not primarily focused on our own farm.
