Me parece bien lo de poner un texto que introduce el funcionamiento de la pagina.

Asi quizas es muy de golpe.
Proponge volver a poner un texto corto de bienvenida y poner otra pagina independiente con la introduccion.
Titulo puede ser: “Si estas nuev@por aqui, lee esto por favor”

Crear una nueva pagina: crear contenido -> pagina
Para que sale en la portada: opciones de publicacion -> Promocionado a la página principal
