Join GEN for the fourth Colloquium of the ReGEN4ALL project on October 26th at 19 CEST as we address the topic Ecovillages and the Commons.

In recent years, people have been working around the world to develop sustainable and equitable ways of managing resources outside of the established paradigms of Market and State. This vibrant movement has been called “The Revival of the Commons”, and ecovillages are among the social and ecological innovations to take part in this conversation. In this colloquium session, we will be joined by scholarly experts and community members to discuss questions such as:

What is the modern commons movement and how is it pertinent to ecovillages and intentional communities? What commons have been developed within ecovillages?
What are the insights regarding ownership? Individualism and collectivism?
What are the challenges in co-creating alternative models to mainstream? What solutions have been found to pave the way?
