About the Solutions

Overview

The first step is to be aware of the consumption of all the electrical devices you have in your house. A very simple an not really expensive tool exist to easily do that: The WATT METRE.

STEP1: check all your devices.
Really easy to use, you just plug it in and then you plug any device on it. Thanks to the a little digital screen, you have the live consumption of your device.
Even if it’s not really expensive, you can join other people to buy it and then lend it to each other.

STEP2: if you have the courage, there’s normally an option to measure the consumption in watt/hour, which is the unit that your electricity supplier use to make the bill. So, you can check the price of the watt/hour on your bill and so evaluate the price that every device cost, per month for example or per year.

STEP3: After probably having big surprises, try to change your habits! Especially on the devices that consumes the more energy or costs the more money.
