Hiroko Katayama

Hiroko is an organizer of ecovillage promotion movement and an educator for sustainable societies manifesting, with the ScienZ Method from AsOne Suzuka Community’s 20 years experience, in which there are innovative social systems of human relationship building and some others. She has created the Course to listen to people" and started the annual seies of nationwide convergence with other organizations since 2014, as well as EDE since 2017. Her team will establish the authorized academy in 2020.

Hiroko is an organizer of ecovillage promotion movement and an educator for sustainable societies manifesting, with the ScienZ Method from AsOne Suzuka Community’s 20 years experience, in which there are innovative social systems of human relationship building, education, one-household economy freed from money and some others. Their activities are based on the studies of human and societies through practices as an open-style urban eco-village. Especially she has concentrated on how people can keep conversation easily without any conflicts and how people can work together with no hierarchy. It means for people’s relationship to be sustainable understanding each other from their true heart. As the result, she has created the learning program, named “the College to Listen to people” since 2014, as well as she has conducted the EDE course in Japan since 2017. In addition to them, she has started the annual series of convergence in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto with main organizations and universities of Japan since 2015.
For more accelerating Ecovillage Promotion Movement, now she is preparing to establish the authorized professional Academy for sustainable societies manifesting in Suzuka city, JAPAN.

Some volunteers gathered to start community building in the end of 2000, aiming the happy world without any conflict.
