Learning our way into co-creating Healthy Vibrant Community

Maaianne’s story bridges Europe and Africa. In 2001 she co-founded the learning centre, Kufunda. Core to Kufunda’s work is enabling rural communities to become strong, empowered agents of their own destiny, using people’s own imagination, collaboration and resources. Kufunda is living its own way into healthy vibrant community – socially, ecologically and spiritually. At Kufunda this work now includes a growing Waldorf inspired school for the local children, and practicing biodynamic farming.

I am the co-founder of Kufunda Learning Village in Zimbabwe.

Primary interests: Conscious Dance (Movement Medicine), Biodynamic Farming, Waldorf Education, Systemic and Family Constellations
