Réduire individuellement et collectivement, localement et globalement notre empreinte écologique • Veiller à une bonne intégration paysagère • Construire de manière écologique sur la base de l’architecture propre à des régions de la Côte d’Ivoire • Préserver la biodiversité • Favoriser l’usage d’énergies renouvelables • Promouvoir une gestion des déchets durables et respectueux de l’environnement • Valoriser les cultures locales par l’éducation

L’idée visée par l’objectif premier, la diminution de l’empreinte écologique, est de ne pas solliciter les ressources naturelles (l’air, l’eau, la terre) plus qu’il n’est possible de les reconstituer, ensuite, le second objectif de l’écovillage est de reconstituer un tissu social véritable et d’instaurer un mode de vie convivial et enfin Le troisième objectif concerne la dimension pluraliste du concept d’écovillage. En effet, il ne comporte pas, en tant que modèle, d’orientation religieuse ou culturelle particulière. Il vise au contraire à encourager la coexistence et le dialogue entre des visions différentes du monde.
