This is a very basic gathering to give ourselves an opportunity to meet to connect around Summit themes, learnings, realisations and ideas. In particular to support identifying what supports our continued action on climate change. I noticed there was only one HUB in Australia and thought how good it would be to meet anyone local who was participationg in the Summit. This would be a one off meeting. Other connections and arrangements to meet agian may flow from this. Many people in this area are very involved in climate action and community activities already. If you are reading this, I’d love to meet you for a cuppa and to share experiences of the summit. I’ll try to look recognisable in the cafe so you know wher to sit/which group to join in the cafe

En un entorno tranquilo y simpático elaboraremos de manera fácil lo que hacían nuestras abuelas. Sábado 19 por la mañana (10:00 a 13:00): Hablaremos de la historia del jabón y aprenderemos recetas fáciles con las que elaboraremos algunos jabones. Usaremos dos técnicas diferentes, jabones con sosa y jabones con glicerina. Sábado 19 por la tarde (17:00 a 20:00): Hablaremos de los diferentes tipos de cremas y bálsamos, de los materiales necesarios para su elaboración y durante el taller haremos un bálsamo y una crema en función de los intereses de las personas que participen en el taller. Domingo 20 por la mañana (10:00 a 13:00): Hablaremos principalmente del áloe vera, sus propiedades y su utilidad dentro de la cosmética natural. A two-week course of log house construction is suitable for everyone who wants to learn the basics of this type construction. The whole process of constructing a small log house will cover several areas: How to prepare the logs: – ordering suitable timber – marking, measuring, selecting logs – removing the bank and peeling logs How to build a wall: – the basic principles – choosing the first log – choosing the following logs for the wall – drawing and cutting notches – drawing and cutting saddle notches and grooves – making window and door holes During the course you will build a small house from pine logs. Previous skills in the field of construction from logs are not required, but you must be aware that you will do a lot of physical work during the course, so be physically prepared. The course will also cover some short theoretical lectures in the classroom, but most of the course will be practical work on the site.

En el encuentro trabajamos con un formato que nos permite profundizar en las 4 dimensiones: social-comunitaria, ecológica, económica, cultural. Con talleres, charlas, experiencias que nos permitirán trazar nuestra propia ruta por este universo ecoaldeano. También es un momento festivo en donde compartir experiencias, comprobar lo valioso de las ideas y las dificultades de su implementación, divulgar conocimientos que nos ayuden a transformar, de manera creativa, nuestras vidas y nuestro entorno hacia nuevos modelos de convivencia que velen por la sostenibilidad, la autogestión y el respeto por minorías y mayorías.
