ÇaraKura Institute is a non-governmental organisation socio-environmentalist and multidisciplinary of arts and culture, founded on the 11th of March of 2007 and qualified as Civil Society Organization of Public Interest (OSCIP)
We get involved in the field of environmental education, scientific and technological research, facilitating the application of social technologies, being simple, efficient, with low costs and low environmental impact. Our projects consist mainly in the construction of ecological houses, the use of renewable energy, the recuperation of degraded areas, especially the Atlantic Rain Forest, treatment and use of bamboo, Permaculture, organic farming, alternative sanitation systems, and other initiatives fostering sustainable socio-environmental development and the recovery of ancestral knowledge.
A good opportunity for us to get to know each other is through our volunteering program. Please write an application on our website explaining your motivation.
