About the course

Overview

At What If: Ecovillage Solutions for Extraordinary Times, GEN Europe brought together renowned experts, visionaries and on-the-ground practitioners to help us make sense of the complex times we live in. Together we explored how ecovillages and intentional communities are awakening to opportunities through the Covid crisis and how together we can transform this moment to create a culture of regeneration and resilience for all.

This package gathers talks and workshops from the event’s Inclusion strand. It explores the challenges of creating diverse communities and the hard questions privileged groups must ask themselves to truly address systems of oppression. It also takes in diverse approaches to spirituality, and how to invite everybody in during collaborations.

This package is for you if… you are curious about diverse approaches to spirituality, and the challenges communities need to face to engage with diversity, inclusion and decolonisation.
Note: this package contains recordings from a past live event. Some of the workshops may contain instructions for breakout activities which took place in the live event.

The package features approximately six hours of content including…

  • Challenges of Diversity and Inclusion panel discussion and workshop with Nonty Sedibe, Meera Ghani, Aida Shibli, Martin Winiecki, Masharu and Ethan Hirsch-Tauber.
  • Integrative Approach to Indigenous Spirituality with John Paul Patton
  • Connecting with your Ancestors with Viva Bailon

I’ve just arrived here, where should I start?

If you are just getting to know GEN, we recommend you start with the GEN Intro course which will give you the frame of how the network and organisation flow.

A live course will be offered at set times and invites you to engage with a facilitator and other participants. A self-paced course means you can engage in the content as your schedule allows. We also offer courses where you engage in the content yourself and then join gently facilitated group discussions to connect with others.
