Located in a rural, mountainous, and indigenous region of Querétaro, Mexico, the Eco-Ranch Ar Däzu is more than a physical space: it is a life project, a refuge for learning, and an invitation to reconnect with what is essential. Rooted in sustainability and self‑sufficiency, the ranch is an off‑grid initiative that embodies regenerative management in energy, water, and food systems. Solar power sustains its energy needs, watershed stewardship and rainwater harvesting secure water resilience, and agroecological food production nurtures both people and the land. Together, these practices cultivate a vision of harmony between community and territory, offering a living example of resilience, regeneration, and collective stewardship.
EcoWayfinder – Empowerment Beyond Education extends this vision into the realm of transformative education. It is a platform that serves both as an on‑site and off‑site training center, dedicated to sustainability and personal development. Here, learning is experiential, ethical, and liberating, fostering empowerment that goes beyond traditional education. In addition, the project representative is co-founder of the Socio-environmental Network of Amealco with about 288 members, a network of socio‑environmental initiatives that strengthens collaboration, amplifies impact, and weaves local efforts into a broader movement for ecological and social transformation.
Together, these initiatives form a living ecosystem of practice and vision: a grounded space where knowledge becomes embodied action, and a compass guiding communities and a compass guiding communities toward regenerative futures.
