What we do

A Ecovila de Piracanga é um lugar de realização de sonhos, transformação pessoal e reconexão com a Natureza que somos e a Natureza na qual habitamos.
Um local de belezas naturais exuberantes, onde atualmente habitam cerca de 180 pessoas, com aproximadamente 40 crianças e recebe alguns milhares de visitantes todo ano.
O desenvolvimento da Ecovila foi impulsionado principalmente a partir de 2011 com a criação de uma comunidade intencional que se estabeleceu com a missão de inspirar o mundo, através da sustentação de um centro holístico focado na expansão do autoconhecimento e cuidados ecológicos como caminhos para a transformação planetária.
Após anos amadurecendo, ganhando complexidade e atravessando a pandemia, a ecovila passou por processos de transformações profundas, onde novas formas de gestão e organização ainda estão tomando forma, junto com a dissolução do pequeno grupo de habitantes que fez parte da comunidade intencional existente. Os acordos e cuidados ambientais e a intenção de permanecer um local de transformação individual e planetaria seguem vivos e ganhando novas escalas.
Hoje muitos dos projetos que foram impulsionados através do núcleo comunitário se tornaram autônomos e independentes, com pequenos grupos de pessoas ou indivíduos gerindo os mesmos.
Há o Centro Holístico Unah, que oferece serviços de hotelaria e cursos diversos, a Escola da Natureza focada em gestão, educação e regeneração ambiental, a Escola Inkiri com uma pedagogia referência no Brasil e no mundo no ramo da educação infantil, projetos de educação para culturas regenerativas (Educação Gaia), saneamento ambiental, cosmética natural e 100% biodegradável, alimentação saudável, música, diversas terapias, sexualidade consciente, criação de abelhas nativas, entre outros.
Piracanga é um laboratório vivo e muito diverso de tecnologias sociais, ambientais, educacionais, artísticas, econômicas e espirituais capazes de inspirar e servir de exemplo para o Planeta.

Social Media Intern for GEN International Hours: Up to 20/month, flexible around your schedule and availability Location: Remote, work with Eva Goldfarb Focus: Instagram + LinkedIn (TikTok if you’re into it!) Hi! I’m Eva, and I run social media for GEN International — the global network connecting ecovillages, intentional communities, and regenerative culture-builders across every continent. I’m looking for a co-conspirator to help me tell the stories of the people quietly building the future: off-grid villages in the Philippines, permaculture farms in Senegal, urban cohousing projects in Berlin, elders passing down land wisdom in the Andes. It’s a wildly rich, wildly underrepresented world, and I want more people to fall in love with it the way I have. What you’ll actually do: Dream up and create content for Instagram and LinkedIn (reels, carousels, stories, captions that don’t sound like a corporate newsletter) Dig into our global network and turn your findings into stories people want to share Pitch your own ideas. If there’s a series, a theme, a format, or a corner of the network that lights you up, that’s what I want you to focus on. What we’re looking for: A natural storyteller, someone who can spot the human thread in a project update or a photo from a faraway village Genuinely curious about ecovillages, sustainability, intentional community, regenerative living Self-motivated and communicative; this is a flexible, trust-based role Why this role: This isn’t a “post 3x a week and don’t ask questions” internship. You’ll have real creative freedom to work on what excites you, learn how a global grassroots network tells its story, and build a portfolio full of meaningful, purpose-driven content.
