Habiba Community includes a beach lodge, a communal organic farm, a regenerative farm, and a learning center. Our vision lies in cultivating our desert through ecology and knowledge to build a strong, healthy & sustainable future for the entire South Sinai Community.
Our regenerative farm & organic farm aim to green the desert by providing organic produce, gathering ecological knowledge and building community collaboration. We test regenerative growing techniques, enable economic sustainability and build a holistic-minded network of peoples—volunteer, academic, scientific, locals and even just the curious. They host impactful volunteer experiences.
Habiba Community also established the Sinai Date Palm Foundation to create sustainable, eco-friendly income for the local community. We also engage partners, universities, and organizations from around the world to build a model of regenerative movement in the desert.
Our organic farm supports and is also home to Habiba Learning Center—where cultivating the minds of local children is one key to Our Vision. We’re devoted to our kids’ development through applicable education and advancing their individual talents & interests, nurturing life-skills and helping enable a sustainable future.
Habiba is also sponsoring female empowerment projects. These initiatives are mainly implemented by enabling women to sustain their living without resorting to any outside help, and by raising economical awareness among Bedouin women, so they are able to maintain a life by developing a project or career.
