As a plant medicine center we see the importance of preservation of the nature around us from destruction by illegal wood exploitation and mono cultivation. 70% of the chemical components in western medicine is extracted from local Amazonian plants. This incredible richness must neither be overexploited nor lost.
For this reason we started to build an ecovillage with low impact on the natural resources: we try to use natural products that don’t pollute, we started our permaculture garden on an edible forest base and a medicine plantation (Ayahuasca, Chacruna, Huambisa, Mocura etc).
People with the same spirit are welcome to join our project. We offer the land to build tiny houses and support for building them. In return we ask for time and knowledge to be given to the community.
We hope to reach a critical mass and to show examples for the local people to get inspiration to start their own permaculture cultivations in hope that they will entirely drop the use of chemicals that pollute the land and the water of nearby rivers.
Our community finds inspiration in the native people’s egalitarian way: we discuss problem together with the aid of ancestral medicine like ayahuasca or mambe’, medicines that increase the collaborative spirit and the understanding of the relations between humans and nature.
We are just starting out and plan to address many problems in the communities around like alcoholism, female condition and education for the local people. We do not want a ‘white savior’ approach and do our best to live together with the communities, to learn from each other and keep what works from our interactions. Our goal is not to teach and leave, but to progress together.

we are a medicine center, often we have people around with some psychological or medical issues, for this we need respect and keep the space safe and friendly. If you are agree on this terms you can build your own hut here and help us to cultivate the land and get involved in our project. Actually we are open to new project as well. Newcomers with new ideas are welcome. we believe in sharing and not in money: people are more important than money.

He practicado vappassana, aquaponics, soy entrandor personal…
Jose
