Zamukia Ecovillage Project is an ecovillage project located at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Palomino. The project is located in 3.2 hectares with ocean view located in Palomino, Colombia. It is surrounded by mountains, jungle, and a creek. It is a peaceful place where you can breathe clean air and farm organic food. We have learned from a variety of spiritual guides how to find our Great Human Nature and our interconnectedness to all, living beings, nature and cosmos. We apply that knowledge with that of permaculture, and alternative sustainable technologies. We look to practice meditation made out of non-religious elements to relate in harmony to the earth and cosmos.

If you are interested you can contact us so that we can send you a brochure with the information about our Ecovillage. After that, we can schedule a virtual meeting so that we can learn more about each others interests. After the first meeting we will schedule a second meeting to meet other interested or current members of the community. To be part of our community we sell shares that allow you to construct a house of a max of 150 square meters and you will have a total of 600 square meters for farming (including the house). We provide our members with a basic design so that you can use it to construct a sustainable house, which recollects water, it is water efficient and reuses water. It also produces electricity and has other features such as composting toilets and is designed to be constructed with sustainable materials. The ecovillage has two communal houses already in the property which provides those who want to share washing machines or the fridge, the possibility to do so. One of the houses can be used for a healing/ ceremonial center. There is a reserve and communal garden available as well. The biodiversity is rich and unique.
