The desire to experience a lively, loving connection with others leads many people to live in community. So ‘clan’ here is a symbol of the family we choose for ourselves and the idea that unique individuals can join together to form one lively, living organism. In order to see what that can look like in practice, this year’s Summer Camp is dedicated to the following research questions:
- What conditions are needed for love and liveliness to arise?
- Are ‘clans’ a possible form for that?
- And is all of that just a nice utopian idea?
… let’s find out!
ZEGG Summer Camp 2015
… is a practical 11-day experiment for those seeking a life to match their dreams – whether personal or social.
Supported by teams from ZEGG, “clan groups” of 20-30 people will meet daily to share, conduct ZEGG Forum and explore specific issues in more depth.
Events in the Big Top, joint rituals and parties will bring the whole camp together again. An important role will also be played by lectures and workshops by external speakers and those from ZEGG.
Open Space sessions will offer guests the opportunity to contribute their own skills and abilities, set off on their own journeys of exploration, and encounter each other.
There will also be special groups for children and youth.
