Katere Charles is the project accountant for GEN since 2019. He is a Ghanaian and born in Brong Ahafo Region. He is a conscientious and hardworking individual, and has proven skills in conducting, teaching, facilitating and handling financial issues, conservative agricultural research, community participatory and development, teaching permaculture principles and designing, EDE’s and assisting general agricultural crop and livestock production. He takes delight in projects that has the potential of sustaining the natural environment whiles improving the living standards of most people especially the poor in society.
Charles is the Director of Eco-Clean Ghana Foundation and a bookkeeper for GEN Africa. He has work with Ghana Permaculture Institute (GPI) as a finance assistant. And worked as a treasurer for GPLASS, a micro finance scheme under GPI. Charles has moreover, worked with PREC Ghana Foundation as a project coordinator in supporting women and youth through entrepreneurial skills training. Charles is a degree holder in Bachelor of science in Accounting and having a diploma in Permaculture.
